Subject: Toe rails, thanks, etc.

Haven't been on the web site since returning from vacation in S.F. We had the honor of attending Carl Schumacher's memoral service on the 24th. Truly a heart-felt and inspiring gathering and my thanks to the organizers and esp. to Sarah and the Magic Bus crew for letting me hitch a ride for the parade.

On to the boat. I noticed on several of the boats at St. Francis, the toe rail has been removed or in some cases replaced with T-track. Any problems with this? I would be concerned with separation of the deck from the hull with just flat head screws thru the deck...or is there something below decks I'm missing?
