So, if I am understanding you correctly, you are wanting more events on the schedule so you can choose between races that fit your schedule. I think by having the "Class" series and the "LD/Fun" series (or whatever you want to call them) there should be plenty of events to choose from.

The idea for having less events is to get more boats on the line. I think everyone will agree that having 20 boats to race against is far more fun than having 2. If we make too many events on the schedule then I believe we will get lower attendance overall. Just my opinion.

Since I am not the class commodore, I am just giving my opinion. If someone wants to put together some sort of schedule, they are more than welcome to do so. Bruzzone has been talking up a storm about a LD/Fun series on this message board and has received little to no response from the class.

Remember, this is your class (all e27 owners) and it will only be as good as the amount of effort that you each put into it!

:: Personally the 2007 schedule was a huge disappointment
:: and with only six or 7 Regattas on the schedule it’s a
:: do or die approach for the fleet. It great to have 18
:: boats on the line but what’s available to those who's
:: schedule cannot accommodate these specific dates. PHRF…
:: Ugh!
::
:: I would like to see more events schedule that will allow
:: for some flexibility in everyone busy schedule and I do
:: not believe that less regattas will be better attended.
