How far does your current jib track extend past the chainplates? The #3 typically sheets in just aft of the chainplates. The #4, depending on hos it is cut, will sheet in maybe 6 inches forward of the chainplates. If you tell me how far your tracks extend in front of the chainplates we can design a 75% or 80% #4 to sheet in properly to your tracks. Then you would not have to modify anything on your boat. It will simply vary the location of the clew on the #4.
