:: Hello, fellow E27 owners; I just bought an E27, and am
:: in the process of getting her ready to sail, hopefully
:: by this coming January.
::
:: It looks like I'll need an outboard motor, and was
:: wondering if a 4-hp, 20"-shaft Tohatsu outboard is
:: appropriate?
::
:: The boat just arrived at the Brickyard Cove Marina from
:: the East Coast this past week - Hull #9, currently named
:: "Pegasus".
::
:: Thanks in advance for any comment/suggestion.
Nov 28, 10am Welcome to the fleet and Brickyard Cove. Many e 27's, mine included, use the Honda 2, or the newer 2.3, for an outboard. A bit underpowered, but light and reliable. Honda wieghs a bit less then 30 lbs and is easy to get off and on the stern. Pushes the boat about 5 mph in flat water and no wind or waves. I am not familiar with the Tohatsu you mentioned. SDK
