:: If it were anyone else, I would say use a 1/2" bolt with
:: lock nut clear thru the boats hull, the drag won’t hurt
:: too badly. In all seriousness, what Jason says is the
:: same way I fixed mine, I would however use stainless
:: steel so that the aluminum can not corrode inside the
:: hull even if it does get totally sealed up it is likely
:: to corrode over time which could cause a small blister
:: from the expansion of the metal and corrosion.
