Subject: VHF radio antena
Info: (24261 views) Posted: Thursday 2-9-06 07:52:31 PM
Hi Roger, Ok for starters, I will give you the part numbers from a West Marine which you can look up online at their store or from a catalog. I forget the exact antenna but mine is similar to the a Shakespeare 5225-XT West Marine number 1186097. The antenna mount is a; no lever Stainless Steel stanchion mount West Marine number 534669 and the thru-deck fitting is a 123851 coaxial cable deck fitting. I mounted the actual VHF right above the nav station to the underside of the deck just forward of the aft lower support cable. I hope this helps. Tom
