:: I don't know much about the Sonoma 30 off the top of my
:: head, but the boats were built around the same time as
:: the Express 27. I'm not sure how many were built.
::
:: As for the Sonoma 30's step-child, it's the Sonic, not
:: the Synergy. A builder in Pt. Townsend, WA saw the
:: Sonoma 30 in the early 90s and wanted to build a
:: slightly updated version. He worked with Carl on the
:: design and apparently built several boats. I don't know
:: where they are now. Incidentally, this builder is the
:: same guy who built Express 27 hull #117...
::
:: The Synergy is a completely independent design, though
:: those boats were also built in Washington State.

:: :: It is a Schumacer design and similar the the e27. I have
:: :: heard that the lines of the boat are basically what led
:: :: up to the Synergy1000 (without the bowsprit).
