Nine Express 27s have signed up for the Detroit NOOD. Who'll make it 10? The entries include three-time DRYA junior sailor of the year, Chris VanTol, sailing #110 with a crew of top young sailors including Perrin Fortune who has logged many miles racing on his dad's E27 Air Force. Paul, Sarah and possibly Eric Deeds are coming from the West Coast to race Lorax #107. They have been hard to beat in recent Detroit NOOD events. Muskegon's Bob Harvey will be back for his fourth Detroit NOOD in #93 Trim. Trim took third last year. Also among the favorites is Detroit fleet champion Harald Kolter's Das Boot, second place finisher in 2003.
