I agree I have the Race Master, Sail Master units on ergo and they are so simple with only one wire for both transducers speed and depth. The wire is small enough to fit in the mast rack down to the cabin top with one small 3/16 “ hole drill in the cabin top not the balsa deck the installation is easy, clean and water tight making for an easy removal of the cable for dropping the mast as well. I love them.

:: In the long thread, there was some confusion about my
:: success with TackTick instruments. My experience is not
:: with the wireless system, but rather with the sealed
:: large-display units (SpeedMaster, RaceMaster,
:: SailMaster). These units either have no wires at all
:: (RaceMaster is compass-only) or have direct wires to the
:: transducers (SpeedMaster, SailMaster). No wireless
:: components; no integration possibilities.
::
:: They are expensive, but very, very bullet-proof.
