Subject: Safety Equipment for Chi-Mac
Info: (13932 views) Posted: Wednesday 1-14-15 02:19:48 PM
Hi Fleet - The Tequila Mockingbird is planning on racing in the Chicago-Mac 2 handed div this summer.

I was wondering if anyone had any of the following safety equipment we might borrow:

- Spare tiller (not a spare rudder.... just the tiller)
- Portable Toilet (appears we cant just call a bucket a toilet)
- Storm Jib – Boats shall carry a storm jib made of suitable weight sail cloth, and
of area not greater than 5% height of the foretriangle squared, with luff maximum length 65% height of the foretriangle. This sail shall have means to attach the luff to the stay independent of any luff-groove device. Boats shall have sheeting positions on the deck for this sail.

Please let me know if you might be able to help us out!

Thanks, Matt
