To prevent aft edge of the racked back rig from denting the deck progressively aft toward hinge, deck sandwich has a wood block in the sandwich check to make sure its not rotten, you need to trim (enable) the rig section to rock fore and aft, put in some rocker was never an issue on Desperado also having retrofit main bulkhead to full length forward posts, forward and aft top headers.
