Jason, I haven't seen a Triad Express 27 trailer, but I know it's important to get the tongue weight right. I have a single axle Trailrite which has plenty of tongue weight. Also, tongue weight can be adjusted on my trailer by loosening some bolts and moving the axle fore or aft, if you can't doing it by moving the boat fore or aft. I'm not sure why moving the boat forward would be a problem so long as most of the keel remains over the keel support. But, as I said I haven't seen a Triad trailer.

Sorry you missed the Detroit Nood this year. We had some good racing and socializing. Hope you can get your trailer adjusted so that you can do it next year.
