The Detroit Fleet held it's most successful awards party ever last Saturday. Forty-seven owners, crews, spouses, former owners plus one new baby (Elliott Macon) attended the party at Gilbert's; The affair was held in the Trophy Room where a dvd player which allowed the fleet to enjoy somel Detroit videos and a couple of old Leon Russell videos from San Francisco.

The results for the top three places in the 6-race Long Distance Series were identical to the above Season Overall results.

NOTE: In addition to the DRYA Saturday series Express 27s race Mondays doublehanded at CSYC, Thursdays at the Farms Boat Club, and the Tues evening GPSC series off the GP Park Park.

The next big fleet event is the Detroit NOOD June 1-3. Out of town boats are welcome. Launching, mooring and haul-out are provided free of charge at Crescent Sail YC and Bayview YC.
