Hodges main's are still the best refined mainsail design in terms of design time . . . since he recently redesigned the sail at the beginning of the year. Get the Dacron model.

Hogin (Steve McCarthy 510/523-4388) now, in my opinion has a way superior #3 design given careful consideration of the Quatum and Hodges offerings.

The new Hogin 1 looks great hung on the headstay at the dock, however, saw very brief use on the water at this years na's.

I believe the Hogan 1 equals the best of the Paxton prototypes from Quantum in shape and Express power considerations . . . because it evolves 10 years of Davant designs . . .and improves on these designs given considering geometries of the foretriangle.

The Hogin chute is excellent . . . see's 1/2 know better speed over 20 miles distances . . . and was recently refined including class windward leeward model.
