Hi, All Express 27 owners:

I have purchased E-27 #111 from the owner in South Carolina. The boat will now be based on the Chesapeake's Eastern Shore.

The name "Piper" will likely remain; history indicates a prior owner from Detroit (this boat has gotten around!) applied that moniker.

I will be selling some used sails, probably 6 to 8 of them. These will be in "good" or "fair" condition, suitable for cruising/daysailing. Pricing will be in the range of $100 to $500 each, plus shipping. These sails are by North, Sobstad, and UK.

There are a few in "poor" condition, suitable for use as drop cloths for painting your house, that will be given away. They are not worth the shipping cost.

Number 111 is being cleaned up, scrubbed down, and thoroughly de-molded this week. I plan to race and daysail the boat out of Oxford and St. Michaels, MD, and competing in Short-Handed distance races.

A list of sails will be posted in the next few days.

Great to have one of the California designed and built boats!
