I ended up using Perko Bicolor http://www.wmjmarine.com/pko0972dpochr.html for bow and Perko Stern http://www.wmjmarine.com/pko0965dpochr.html These are incandescent fixtures, but I purchased LED's to substitute for the bulbs http://store.marinebeam.com/perko-31mm-anchor-light.html They work fine in the daylight, but I have not seen them yet at night. Ideally, it may be better to use purpose built LED's, but I could not find any that matched a bow and stern light together, and I wanted the bow and stern light to look related to each other. There is a lopolight, but these are quite expensive.

:: :: Hi Todd,

:: :: On a closely related subject,
:: ::
:: :: I used Dr. LED to replace my stern incandescent, but I
:: :: have not replaced the entire assembly.
:: ::
:: :: I have not found an LED to legally replace the bow bulb
:: :: though. The light emiting angle is wrong and the red
:: :: color goes pinkish.

:: :: :: Does anyone have a recommended brand for an LED stern
:: :: :: light? LED bow lights?

:: Hi Todd,

:: I replaced my bow light using the Innovative Lighting
:: LED 2 mi. combo deck mount. It works great so far & is
:: reasonable in price. The screw

:: holding the casing seems flimsy, but has remained secure
:: for several months. I got it at Svendsen's. I haven't
:: found a reasonably priced 135°

:: LED deck-mount stern light or a Dr. LED light bulb that
:: fits my stern incandescent. Let me know what you find.
