We haven't used our Express 27 (Gladrags) for a couple of years and got a nasty surprise when we went aboard to get ready to launch. We discovered that we had some mildew we need to remove – but much worse, we had apparently been providing a home to families of mice which have made a mess and eaten holes in lines and sails (even Kevlar!).

We plan to use sail tape to patch the sails for atemporary repair but we're looking for suggestions as to how to clean the 'V' berth cushion covers. Our main question is whether they can be washed, or must they be dry-cleaned.

We plan to use TSP to clean the interior woodwork. We would appreciate any information or experience you can provide.
