FYI, for midwinters this weekend: I have used the smaller hoist on the Express.

Dear Members & Dry Sailors,

Only one Crane Hoist is operating at this time, with the main Crane down for repairs. The manual gear box failed and we’ve hired KONE Cranes to facilitate.

Hoist #2, which is slightly smaller, is still fully functional and has been recently outfitted with a new longer, power control cord.

No word yet on locating #1’s replacement parts, but I will notify immediately by email when we’re back up. Sincere apologies for this inconvenience. - Matt
