It was brought to my attention that my boat Magic # 80 was scored in e27 OD fleet for a second place finish base on our finish time. I've read the thread and am a bit surprised at some of the comments and am sorry for any confusion. Magic did not signed up to race in the OD e27 fleet. We choose to race in the sport boat division at a PHRF of 126, which is our base rating for offshore racing. Someone had suggested that we do not have a valid cert or that there was a clerical error, which is not true. We have a valid PHRF cert and there was no clerical error. We choose to race in the sport boat division, only because using our mast head kite is a lot of fun!!!!! You should try it some time...The boat gets up out of the water way sooner then with a fractional kite.
