SF Express 27 Racers-- Our first buoy regatta of the 2009 season is coming up this weekend -- March 7 and 8 -- at St. Francis Yacht Club. Currently we have 8 boats signed up, which is quite a bit fewer than the 19 boats that indicated support for the event in the recent schedule poll. I'm hoping this is due to simple procrastination, and I'm looking forward to seeing the entry list grow over the week. It is definitely not too late to get your crew lined up and your entry registered. Please go here and take care of it: www.stfyc.com As in years past, on Saturday March 7 at 5 pm, after the racing for the day, we will be holding a little get together in the Golden Gate room at St. FYC to recognize our 2008 season winners and to formally kick off the 2009 season.
