Scott, Well, it was fun to follow you around the course these last seven years. You always gave us something to shoot for! Maybe your buyer won't be so darn good and we can all move up a notch in the standings..... :-) Good luck with the J105.

Onthe Rail "Trying our best"

:: It is with great sadness that I post this message. After
:: 7 amazing years in the Express class, Team Swamp Donkey
:: is moving onto another boat. I have purchased a 1/3
:: partnership in a used J105 and will be selling the
:: Express. Although I look forward to the challenges of
:: learning a new boat and some of the cruising capabilties
:: that a larger boat offers my family, I will greatly miss
:: racing the Express and the excitement it offers.

:: We have had a lot of fun along the way and feel that the
:: Express is the Ultimate Sailing Machine as the tagline
:: goes. I am sure that you will see me in the Express
:: fleet again at some point, and I am confident in the
:: fleet's future. Thanks everyone for all of the

:: sell the boat locally to someone who is interested in
:: racing it in one-design. There is a chance that Doug
:: Robbins will retain his minority ownership in the boat
:: so you may not have gotten rid of all the Donkey boys
