What distance races would you drop other than LD at Nationals? Distance series is a pretty great schedule. I like adding coastal stuff but that's because we do it. If it created more turnout for Spin Cup that would be great but not sure it would happen. Would there be enough other boats? Nationals LD gets 20+ boats. Vallejo 1-2 seems like overlap. I would add Midnight Moonlight but I think you did great job per usual and it's tough to entirely please everyone.

Racing on city front is fun and we shouldn't cut an active club out. The ROI on that regatta has been low the last few years.....

:: I also support Steve's suggestion. Have always wanted to
:: the Big Daddy. Way better value for cost. Last year we
:: were drifting in tons of current with .25 mile offsets.
:: The year before we were sent to Bonita in no wind and
:: tons of fog while the other boats had perfect conditions
:: in the bay.
::
::
::
::
::
:: ::
:: :: can we add Vallejo 1-2 in Oct.
:: ::
:: ::
:: :: :: Thank you Zach for getting this out early. It looks fine
:: :: :: though I have never understood why the fleet needs to
:: :: :: overlap regattas into both series like Vallejo,
:: :: :: Nationals and Pumpkin. Make them a part of one series.
:: :: ::
:: :: :: I am also in agreement to dropping Spring Keel primary
:: :: :: due to the hi entry fee of $140.00 and STFYC member need
:: :: :: to address this with there club. Sailing is a declining
:: :: :: sport. Marina fees keep going up and boat budget gets
:: :: :: smaller every year.
:: :: ::
:: :: :: :: Thank you Zach.
:: :: :: ::
:: :: :: :: Regarding Spring Keel, scratching this will leave the
:: :: :: :: StFYC unrepresented in the schedule. There are many
:: :: :: :: StFYC members that actively race in the fleet.
:: :: :: ::
:: :: :: ::
:: :: :: :: :: Zach, thanks for putting the schedule together!
:: :: :: ::
:: :: :: :: :: I'm also in support of Steve's suggestion. A lot of us
:: :: :: :: :: race Big Daddy anyways so why not make it part of the
:: :: :: :: :: official schedule.
:: :: :: ::
:: :: :: :: :: Moni
:: :: :: :: ::
:: :: :: :: :: :: Thanks for getting the schedule out early this year.
:: :: :: :: ::
:: :: :: :: :: :: I am in support of Steve's suggestion to drop the Spring
:: :: :: :: :: :: Keel and do the Big Daddy hosted by RYC Mrch 11 & 12.
:: :: :: :: :: :: Seth
