What I am saying is replacement value of our boats, per commercial marine surveyor(s) is comparable to any other modern 27 foot sport boat on the market which is $60K. That is the price to purchase new or slightly used, 27 footish sport boat, Schumaker or comparable. Most of those boats do not have an organized fleet like our fleet around here . . . but perhaps in some other region.

The guild of boat workers, and boats traders, know this trying to figure out how to capatilize on difference in valuations. By picking up boats below market then retrofting for a supra economic profit: $30K sale price and I have heard higher. My concern is some in the trade stalling sales potentials to pick up below market.

Now I don't mind a savvy tradesmen whot knows they can transform a fair market e27 into a super boat and secure a supra economic profitc. But they better be willing to split that upside with me.

There are examples of this occurring on the fringes and in other ULDB fleets, where, I don't believe the act is purposefully meant to extract a supra econimic profit out of a fair market sale price.

However, the trade, observing and beyond those who first exhibited this ability have woken up to its potential.
