For me, I love it because it gives me freedom. Freedom to spend time by myself sailing alone in the afternoon sunshine, or sailing with my family and friends.

This boat is so easy to sail with or without crew it's amazing. Compared to other closely rated boats, it's a snap to sail fast. Everything is so easy, you don't need a big grinder, nor a big guy on foredeck - you can focus on tactics and strategy. I've done many single handed races also and the boat's a breeze to jibe - even with the masthead kite. That's all I ever use up here as winds generally are only up to 20 kts. Even going 7 kts, it's no problem jibing - well maybe just a little bit - any scr_w up by yourself, and you know what happens .... It does keep the adrenalin pumping though!

Anyways, after that earlier post, I thought, what the heck, why not add another. I like it when I come here and see different posts. So hopefully this will encourage others to post what they have been doing over the years, and what else you racers have been doing when you're not racing.

And yeah, I know you guys don't want to give out any secrets to the guys you race with all the time - but this is just a little fun, light stuff that's all.

Anyways, hope others reply and post and I noticed that once I posted again, all my past posts popped up under my name again! I thought, I'm still alive - yeah! And no, I'm not nuts - I'm just getting older and enjoying life more, that's all.
