INSIDE THE CABIN I HAVE A 5/32 WIRE RUNNING FROM THE AFTER LOWER CHAINPLATE TO THE SEMI-BULKHEAD THAT FORMS THE FOREWARD END OF THE SEAT. THERE IS A LIFELINE TYPE ADJUSTER FOR TENSIONING. IT LOOKS LIKE ORIGONAL EQUIPMENT.

QUESTION: SHOULD THERE BE A LOT OF TENSION, A LITTLE TENSION, OR DOES EVERYBODY REMOVE THIS WIRE AND THROW IT AWAY?

RESPONSES WILL BE APPRECIATED AS WERE THOSE TO MY MOTOR MOUNT QUESTION. I AM A NEW OWNER (HULL 53) AND THERE AREN'T MANY E-27S TO LOOK AT AROUND HERE. (I WET SAIL OUT OF SEQUIM BAY, WA AND, NO, THAT WASN'T ME AT FRIDAY HARBOR A WHILE BACK)
