Since last years announcement that Dave Norris of Christchuch NZ was the builder of the Express 27 I wonder what has been the success? Has he had enough orders to build and deliver any new boats?

Obviously as this site indicates there is a very strong market for good used Express 27s. Does this however translate into the larger market outside of the existing predominant one design areas, given that there is so much choice in this size with more modern performance parameters.

Without success and a rejuvenation of the fleet, it will effect both the short term value of original boats but may lead to a long term unhealthness for the class.
