Ruby My Dear and her Detroit crew ended up a respectable 5th in the St Pete NOOD "Level" 123 Class . She was beaten by two Tripp 26s (PHRF-120), an Abbott 33 (PHRF 126) and a J-30 (PHRF 141). [Ruby beat the Tripp 26s racing PHRF in Key West three weeks previous.] St. Pete was a learning experience for Piper with a 9th in her first trip south.
