Big win for Phil & Steve in double handed LS. Wanted to thank every member of the fleet for pulling together on the EPIRB situation so last minute. Many boats brought extras several of which were offered to Desperado who lacked one before the race. Thanks Steve Caroll for the loan of the personal EPIRB model.

Discussion on this topic at Atalanta which followed noted these personal models; which don't float (unless you strap some styrofoam to them) won't qualify under future rule.

I plan to follow up with Brian and CG HQ to see why and what provisions might be made. $600 for personal vs $1400 for foatable model is a big difference. Thank you Peggy & Tom for helping with RC. Ray and Janet Lotto for the superbly hosted get together aboard Atalanta following.

Wetsu 1st in fleet & 1st overall of 49 boats GWhite 2nd in fleet & 2nd overall The Raton, 3rd & 4th overall (Pocket Rocket PHRF II slipped in there) Desperado, 4th & 5th overall Verve 5th & 6th overall Diane Taz Withcy Elise
