I remember Yeofy and it's a fast boat. Check to make sure snow has not piled up on the deck winter after winter . . . pull some of the gear off the deck and pull out the ice pick probe.

:: That is all I needed. This means it is hull# 97 and was
:: built in May of 1985. This boat was actually previously
:: known as "Xeofy" or "Yeofy" back in the day. It was a
:: well sailed boat and wone the Nationals back in 86 and
:: 88 with Jeff Mardigali on the boat. It has been out of
:: the scene for quite some time but I am glad it has
:: finally been located. Shoot me an e-mail if you have any
:: questions about the e27. I have owned three over the
:: years now and they are great boats that can go anywhere!
::
:: Cheers,

:: Jason
::
:: :: Thanks Jason:
::
:: :: The serial number, which was located on the top right
:: :: corner is
::
:: :: A(8)(Q)27097F585. The number was difficult to read so
:: :: there was some uncertainty regarding the 2nd and 3rd
:: :: digits. The 2nd digit was either 8 or B, the 3rd digit
:: :: was either Q or O. I was unable to determine the hull #
:: :: when I saw the boat.
:: ::
:: :: Thank you for your help,
::
:: :: Mark

:: ::
:: :: :: There was a red boat in the SF bay area a few years ago
:: :: :: by the name of Radio Flyer (hul #89), but it sold and
:: :: :: went somewhere??? Could be this one just renamed, or it
:: :: :: might be a lost boat that we don't know of. Check the
:: :: :: hull identification number on the top right corner of
:: :: :: the transom. That will tell you everything you want to
:: :: :: know. I have a pretty big file on the history of all the
:: :: :: boats and can give you what I know once we find out what
:: :: :: the hull# is.
:: :: ::
:: :: :: Cheers,

:: :: :: :: I am looking at an Express 27 up here in Canada, which
:: :: :: :: goes by the name "Espresso" (hull # unknown). The
:: :: :: :: brokerage that is selling the boat does not have much
:: :: :: :: information on it. I was wondering if anyone had come
:: :: :: :: across the boat or knows anything about its history.
:: :: :: ::
:: :: :: :: The boat has a Montana registration (Yes - Montana!) but
:: :: :: :: its possible it may have been sailed in San
:: :: :: :: Fransisco/California at one time in its life. The boat
:: :: :: :: is painted red, with large decals on the side
:: :: :: :: "Espresso". Any information would be helpful.
:: :: :: ::
:: :: :: :: Thanks.
