I ended up going to Hatchmasters and having the original lid rebuilt. Hatchmasters is easy to find on Google and a Lewmar authorized repair shop. The Size 40 turns out to be too small. Too bad as I found one on Ebay for $150. It ended up costing me $400 to have the rebuild done and it is a drop in. It appears th4e right new Lewmar is a series 60 which is between $600 and 700 and still needs the spacer to face aft.

:: does anyone have a replacement hatch cover? Does anyone
:: know what Lewmar hatchpart number is on our boats? Does
:: anyone know of someone that repairs cracked (not crazed)
:: hatch covers?
