Yes, there are currently 3 boats registered to race in Monterey (New Wave, Pflight Deck and Libra). Right now it's PHRF short distance buoy races and longer distance races as part of the MBYRA series between the three Monterey Bay yacht clubs (MPYC, EYC and SCYC). I'm the Race Chair at MPYC so definitely contact me if you plan on racing in Monterey Bay.
